Nova Sol is based in Burnaby, BC. The group (founded by Jan Deny) has been performing at various venues and events for over ten years and has released three albums that can be purchased on Bandcamp.

Instrumentation consists of acoustic guitar, sax/piano and occasionally accompanied by a female singer. The music is in the style of bossa nova smooth jazz/pop/soul performing standards and favourites as well as original compositions.
