Formed in 2012 in Vancouver, B.C., The Rocket Revellers have been packing the dance floor with their electrifying weekly performances at the Revel Room in Vancouver’s historic Gastown district for the past eight years. Jimmy Roy – Lap Steel & Guitar

A legend in the roots music world, Jimmy Roy has toured and recorded with icons like Ray Condo & His Ricochets, Big Sandy & The Fly-Rite Boys, Jimmy Roy’s 5 Star Hillbillies, and Petunia & The Vipers. Don’t miss his acclaimed Sunday gigs with country star Kelly Haigh.

Stephen Nikleva – Guitar

Guitar virtuoso and producer Stephen Nikleva is known for his 2017 album Square Moon, which received critical acclaim. His impressive credits include work with Veda Hille, Sandy Scofield, Sarah McLachlan, and more. Stephen’s long-standing musical partnership with Jimmy Roy has created a chemistry that is pure magic on stage.

Mike Van Eyes – Piano & Vocals

A boogie-woogie powerhouse, Mike Van Eyes is a one-man wrecking crew who can do it all—from early jazz to rock ‘n’ roll. His resume includes work with The Epics, Trespassers, Herald Nix, and decades of collaborations with Stephen and Jimmy Roy.

Paul Townsend – Drums

A versatile drummer with a globe-trotting career, Paul Townsend is known for his mastery of styles from western swing to rockabilly, Roma, and Middle Eastern rhythms. He has played jazz festivals in Montreal, Paris, Calgary, and Vancouver.

Joseph Lubinsky-Mast – Upright Bass

One of the most sought-after upright bass players on the scene, Joseph Lubinsky-Mast brings his infectious style and energy to Petunia & The Vipers, Wooden Horsemen, and, of course, The Rocket Revellers.

Dennis Brock – Vocals

Vocalist Dennis Brock cut his teeth on the San Francisco rock scene with Kristine and Skin & Bonz, touring the California coast. A longtime rockabilly and jump blues fan, he brings his signature scream and swagger to western swing and more with The Rocket Revellers.
