Steph Wall is a genre-defying force in alternative soul, blending surf, indie rock, soul, and Americana into a sound she calls “velvet alternative.” Based in Vancouver, her music is both nostalgic and strikingly original, shaped by a decade of vocal study in Vancouver and New Orleans. Known for her horn-like vocal phrasing and emotional depth, Wall draws comparisons to Yebba and Amy Winehouse, though her sound is entirely her own.

Her 2023 LP My Angels explored grief and human connection, earning critical recognition from Exclaim! as an emerging Canadian artist to watch. Now entering a bold new chapter, she follows up with Gusher (March 2025) and her upcoming EP TANG (June 2025), showcasing playful lyricism, lush arrangements, and fearless artistry.
