Originally from Winnipeg and shaped by his early years in Calgary, Tyson Ray Borsboom has emerged as one of Canada’s most compelling voices in contemporary songwriting. Blending elements of country, indie, folk, and alt-rock, he crafts music that resonates as both deeply personal and universally timeless.

Now calling Vancouver, BC home, Tyson has shared the stage with Field Guide, Billy Raffoul, Jon Bryant, and Kacy & Clayton. His live shows captivate with a mix of raw emotion, reflection, and the quiet beauty found in life’s highs and lows. Working alongside producer Phenix Warren (Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, Wyatt C Louis, Kyle Church), Tyson continues to expand his creative reach.

The year ahead is a milestone: this November he’ll tour Germany for the first time, setting the stage for the release of his long-awaited full album in 2026.
