Willy Blizzard is a Vancouver-based touring acoustic trio known for original folk/roots music featuring rich vocal harmonies, guitar, banjo, and stand-up bass. Their songs—rooted in storytelling and authenticity—have earned them a place on Celebrating the Best in BC Music.

Fronted by lead vocalist and songwriter John Hough, the band has shared stages with David Rea, Jesse Winchester, and Valdy, and has opened for Tom Russell at Vancouver’s Rogue Folk Club. Hough’s musical history also includes festival performances at the Vancouver Folk Festival, Mission Folk Festival, Filberg Festival, and Harrison Festival of the Arts. His previous Celtic band, Under The Moss, was featured at Expo 86’s Folklife Pavilion, introducing his warm baritone voice to audiences across B.C.
